Sixty-four golfers participated in the German Automotive and Invictus Communications Charity Golf Day at the beautiful Kedleston Park golf course on Thursday, 28 August, helping to make the day a huge success!
Despite the weather forecast of heavy rain, the sun shone for the German Automotive annual golf day, helping make it a day to remember.
Players competed in vain to try and get a hole-in-one on the 7th hole to win £1000 and to beat the Pro's trick shot.
There were many chances to win prizes, including the 'Famingo hole', where players had to hit their drive the furthest... standing on one leg!
There was also a challenging putting competition, an emoji ball competition, longest drives for men and women and nearest the pin on all the par three holes.
The event, which raised much-needed funds for the Derbyshire-based Safe & Sound charity, was won by the YMCA team of Grace Harrison, Bradley Taylor, Julian Smith and Sam King with a fantastic score of 99 points!
The event was followed by the traditional evening’s entertainment, a fabulous magician, a raffle and prize giving, where 16 teams won prizes!
German Automotive would like to thank all the golfers, helpers and sponsors who made the Charity Golf Day at Kedleston Park Golf Club such a huge success!
Also, a BIG shout out to all the businesses that either provided sponsorship or donated prizes, including Swift Luxury Travel, Angelos, Bradman’s, Chris the Chef, Castrol, Mercedes, BMW, Pinchbeck Motors, Scaffnet Services, and We are Kudos.
